Here’s another! The first one I edited, actually. I didn’t do too much really. I try a bunch of things at first and pick one of the twenty ways to get the same end result. I think shooting at the school with the kids is good practice as they’re CONSTANTLY on the move and being silly and destroying wonderful candid moments (I’m not entirely complaining, because they sometimes give me cute stuff too; it’s just not for what I was hoping) and so many things that have to keep me ‘on it’ or whatever. It’s fun and it’s good.
Posts tagged my stuff.
I hadn’t post-edited anything in good while until today. Here is Nik.
*This is the result of “I’m going to make eye contact with you and still take a picture without looking and hope that it come out all right.” Moderately to highly satisfied with the original’s outcome, I believe.
This is over a year old, I believe. I’m still not sure how I feel about the juxtaposition.
I miss wanting to take pictures.
I miss caring.

Samples of what I shot today, Not my usual subjects
So- going to be redundant: Some of the stuff I shot today. I enjoyed playing with sun flares and angles. Not my usual subjects (i.e. nature) but those were my surroundings.

I’ve processed this one some too. I had three variants when I finished; this is my favourite.
I posted the original of this a couple of days ago. I edited it in class. Minor changes, but a significant difference in overall look.
These were some bathrooms and I was just in love with the doors. I was shooting with my dad that day, with the D90. That was before I could tell you about ISO, depth of field, aperture, shutter speed, and other camera setting facts/functions/products/etc. with ease. It was all instinctive, trial and error.
This is unedited and straight out of the camera. It’s off centered somewhat, but this is one of my favourite shots ever (which I’ll process a tad sometime). I learned a lot that day.
I wish I could have those days again. More often.
This actually is part of a purse made from the actual record and its cover. It was a gift; a rather cool gift (and for no occasion either).
